Floppy Drive

012NEC 1.44-MB Floppy/$13.00 First of all, we know the photo at left is that of a hard drive and not a floppy, we'll get that fixed ASAP.  And we know many vendors don't even offer a floppy drive as an option.  We still love 'em, though.  They allow us to boot special diagnostic code when all else has failed.  They provide a means to load drivers for Windows Server 2003 that can't be loaded any other way.  They're less than $15, and worth every penny.

Enclosures Foxconn 8-Bay mATX/$68.00 This is our smaller case (left picture), measuring about 14.25" high, 7" wide, and 18" deep.  It includes a 350W power supply, room for four internal hard drives (nope, that isn't a misprint, this mATX case has room for FOUR hard drives), two optical drives (like DVD burners), and room for up to two optional front-panel card readers.  Oh, there are also front-panel USB/Audio connectors standard.  It is a great little case that doesn't sacrifice anything for its compact size. Foxconn 10-Bay ATX/$78.00 Slightly larger at about 17" high, 7" wide, and 19" deep, this case has all the same room as the case above except it sports two extra optical drive bays (four instead of two).  Inside, the extra depth provides a little more elbow room when building fully configured machines (as in machines with multiple video cards, etc.).  Otherwise, pretty much all the same features of the case above.
