This is not a blog...
And I won't be contributing daily.  My interests range from computing (hardware and programming) to music (more on that in the future) and audio equipment (goes hand in hand with music) and woodworking.  I intend to use this page to describe some of the projects I've completed and maybe even some I'm working on.

Notes...

12/13/09:  Audible Tension Gauge.  A way to compute the frequency of your plucked bandsaw blade at various tensions.  This page needs some updating (I've got better MIDI files).  Time to get around to this...

3/7/08:  My Sliding Doweling Jig.  Dowels can be a great (albeit kinda slow) way to join wood.  I have used several different kinds during my life.  I finally just made my own.

12/30/07:  The Thien Router Table Circle Jig.  If you want to make your own Thien Separator Lid, you're gonna need circles.  This is how I make 'em.

11/24/07:  The Thien Cyclone Lid.  I grew tired of commercially available cyclone lids but didn't want to give-up on the idea.  Almost from the day I was done with my FrankenVac I started on a new design that fixes the problems w/o adding much to the complexity.

9/9/06:  Fine-tuning your Ryobi BT3000/BT3100/BT3K table saw.  The saw's manual gets you close, but this procedure will get as close as .001" (one-thousandth of an inch).

6/13/06:  The Woodcraft Horizontal Wet Grinder.  My Inca 410 jointer/planer knives required sharpening.  I could either take them to a grinding shop and spend about $15 each time I needed them sharpened, or I could figure out how to do it myself.  Updated a little 6/15/06.

6/12/06:  FrankenVac.  My woodshop is too small for a dedicated dust collection system.  After adding a router table and Inca 410 jointer/planer, I knew I had to do something.  Frankenvac was the solution.
